Getting Closer

My first book will hit the Cerridwen Press Coming Soon page next Thursday (April 26). I'm getting nervouser and nervouser. You can tell because I'm using non-words like "nervouser" more and more often. I know it's a good book. My editor thought it was good enough to acquire, and the copy editor even commented on it. But will you like it? That's what's got me all worked up, no matter how much I repeat "I write for myself. I write for myself."

We all want to be loved and accepted. We all have a craving for approval and get a warm glow when someone says something nice about us. So over the next few weeks, as my book cover creeps closer and closer to the main Cerridwen page, I'm going to make an effort to tell at least one person a day something nice about them, something I especially appreciate. Maybe it will keep my mind off the butterflies in my tummy.
